Summer Rays Sun-Shaped Fruit (Printer View)

A bright platter showcasing pineapple, mango, watermelon, grapes, and berries arranged like sun rays.

# Components:

→ Base Fruits

01 - 1 large pineapple
02 - 2 large mangoes
03 - 2 oranges
04 - 1 small watermelon
05 - 1 cup green grapes
06 - 1 cup blueberries

→ Garnishes

07 - 1/2 cup raspberries
08 - Fresh mint leaves for garnish
09 - 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)

# Method:

01 - Slice the pineapple crosswise into 1/2-inch thick rings. Using a cookie cutter or knife, cut a large round from the center of one ring to create the sun’s face. Arrange this piece in the center of a large serving platter.
02 - Peel and cut mangoes and oranges into long, thin strips or wedges. Arrange these slices radiating outward from the pineapple center to form the sun’s rays.
03 - Using a cookie cutter or knife, cut the watermelon into star or triangle shapes. Place these pieces between the mango and orange rays to enhance color contrast.
04 - Fill the remaining gaps on the platter with clusters of green grapes and blueberries to add texture and vibrant hues.
05 - Scatter raspberries and fresh mint leaves evenly over the arrangement. Optionally, sprinkle shredded coconut around the platter’s edge to simulate sun rays.
06 - Place the assembled fruit tray in the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve.
